This painting was from my own photograph as a complete reference. Notice the crane in the lower, right hand corner. He was hiding in the marsh - looking for food. He was very still and intent. I love the colors of fall and his white body stands out but yet is easy to miss at first glance. The original is sold and in a private collection, but giclee' prints are available on request.
